Application of Leininger's Transcultural Treatment Theory
The theory of cultural care range and universality gives alternative and complete framework pertaining to understanding how politics, religion, family members life, and other aspects of sociable structure and world view, need to be regarded in planning care for people (Leininger, 1998). The aim of the paper is to represent my own understanding for the cultural attention theory application by using ideas and presumptions are mentioned, and then this applied to an instance study.
Leininger's Transcultural Theory:
The central idea of Leininger's theory is human care in diverse or perhaps similar context. Leininger declares that care is a general phenomenon nevertheless the expression of care is different from lifestyle to lifestyle, Leininger as well stresses knowledge of the individual, family members, groups and institutions from the broad aspect of sociable structure, universe view, vocabulary and environmental context. These components had been presented in the symbolic conceptual of the dawn model. The sunrise style (fig 1) provides simple clear way of conducting cultural care for different cultural clients. According to Leininger, proper care and tradition are the absent components of different theories, so she described these concepts. Leininger has built her theory on the idea that lenders form every single culture corelates their awareness of proper care to their overall health beliefs and practices (Leininger, 1991).
The metaparadigm to get Leininger theory, the major concepts and assumptions and dawn model here:
Leininger identified care since the essential, central and critical component of her theory. Proper care is important intended for the development, heath, maintenance and survival of human being in all of the world ethnicities. Care activity includes assistive, supportive or perhaps facilitative actions towards or for another individuals or teams. All these may improve man conditions and life way (Leininger, 1991, 1995, 1998). Culture.
Culture may be the learned, distributed and sent values, philosophy, norms and life approach practices of particular group that guideline thinking, decisions and actions (Leininger, 1991, 1995, 1998). Leininger offers identified three nursing treatment modes that happen to be sued to steer nursing decisions and activities to achieve widely congruent attention. These ways are/or contain:
1- Cultural care preservation /or maintenance identifies those broadly based aiding, facilitative or enabling tendency that support individuals to preserve favorable overall health (Leinnger, 1991). 2- Social care hotel /or discussion refers to these culturally centered assistive, facilitative or allowing actions that reflect approaches to adapt, work out or adapt to clients into the care life style (Leininger, 1991). 3- Cultural care repatterning /or reorganization, rearrangement, reshuffling refers to change health or life design of individuals by simply reconstruction of designs (Leininger, 1991, 1998).
Leininger has viewed health, since it is more than lack of disease, health refers to philosophy, values and action patterns that are widely known and used to protect and maintain personal or group well being (Leininger, 1991, 1995, 1998). N. Environment
